A Survey of Simulator Requirements
نویسنده
چکیده
Simulators have been developed to train pilots, sailors or car drivers without the costs and risks of moving their real vehicles. To obtain high success in training, the simulators have to provide a high level of realism. The requirements of simulators and their CIG-system, especially the 'real time' requirement, result from this need for realism. 'Real time' means, the system has to react in less than 150 ms after the trainnee has made an input.

Survey the effect of texting on driving performances using drivers driving a Simulator
Introduction: There is evidence that driver distraction is one of the major causes of vehicle accidents. One of the key factors that can affect people's driving performance drastically, is texting. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the effects of texting on driving functions using a driving simulator. Methods and Materials: This study was conducted on 80 students ranging fro...
متن کاملAnalyzing the Illumination and Resolution in Seismic Survey Designing
Seismic modeling aids the geophysicists to have a better understanding of the subsurface image before the seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation. In this regard, seismic survey modeling is employed to make a model close to the real structure and to obtain very realistic synthetic seismic data. The objective of this study is to analyze the resolution and illumination of the fault by...

متن کاملComparison between the Simulator and Scheduler based approach of Design Space Exploration for Application Specific Instruction set Processor
An Application Specific Instruction set Processor (ASIP) is a processor designed for a particular application or for a set of applications. An ASIP exploits special characteristics of application(s) to meet the desired performance, cost and power requirements. ASIP Design Space Exploration can be carried out by one of the two popular available techniques as Simulator or Scheduler based approach...
متن کاملSnapshot of MAC, PHY and Propagation Models for IEEE 802.11 in Open-Source Network Simulators
Simulation is an essential component of the validation chain in the design of network protocols. Indeed, while simulation is not the only tool used for data networking research, it is extremely useful because it often allows research questions and prototypes to be explored at many orders-of-magnitude less cost and time than that required to experiment with real implementations and networks. In ...
